This win catapulted Clarkson into fame and earned her an agreement with RCA Records 19 Recordings, as well as 'S Records. Since her debut in the series, she has released a number of albums. Of those albums three reached number one on the US Billboard 200. The others were close to reaching the top position. She is considered one of many of the most popular American Idol artists. She tried her hand at recognition for her various themes and musical style, and often wrote her own songs. The uniqueness of her voice and singing abilities earned her critical praise along with a host of prestigious awards. She's been honored with an award called the Grammy Award 3 times. She also has been featured in television and films. She has also written the book for children River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and has been involved with various charities.
