Harry Edward Styles, known as Harry Styles in the world of pop music. by the name of Harry Styles, is a British composer and performer who is regarded as being a part of the band One Direction. His parents are Des Styles and Anne Cox. The couple were born on 1st February, 1994 in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles went to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive, and with his three classmates, created a band group called White Eskimo. They were the winners of the Battle of Bands in 2009 due to their impressive results. Despite having an interest in music he also wanted to be an attorney or an physiotherapist. He was employed at the local bakery for a few hours in order to provide for his family. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition in which he performed Stevie Wonder's song Is not She Lovely. The group were forced to split. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles that he be part of a brand new group, One Direction. The other band members included Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of the group that formed in the year 2010. The band of five was backed by Simon Cowell. They were the first to sing Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You and Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. They were among the most competitive groups in the contest. Despite this, they finished third, just behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles' group didn't take home the prize, however Cowell nevertheless paid two million dollars in cash to One Direction for them to agree to a contract with Syco.
