Kari Samantha Wuhrer (born on April 28th in 1967) is an American performer and actress. She began her acting career when she was in her teens. She is most known for playing Maggie Beckett on the TV series Sliders, as well as in the role of her character, Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the horror comedy movie Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was raised within Brookfield Connecticut as the daughter of Karin Noble and worked as a payroll clerk, and German American Andrew Wuhrer. She has 3 siblings. She was a teenage singer who was a regular in the clubs, escaping from the family in order in order to perform. She began studying acting at her 13th birthday at Wooster School. She then pursued the art of drama at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Marymount Manhattan College, Columbia University, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts alongside renowned teacher Uta Hagen.Kari Samantha Wuhrer is an American actor, model and singer. She was also a student at Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College, Marymount Manhattan College college, and also The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where she had a teacher who was known for her work as Uta. Kari began acting when she was still a teenager. She had her first big breakthrough on MTV Remote Control in 1987.
